• Try to use the Power On feature. Go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input. Use the included Voice Remote to control your Fire TV Edition television. Also you can download the Amazon Fire TV app on your Smartphone to control your Fire TV Edition television. David M. - Toshiba Support

• If youre using a Fire TV, On the Xfinity remote, hold setup until you see the green light at the top, key in 11524, then press power to turn TV off. Press power again to turn tv on again and volume, channel, and switching inputs should work from the Xfinity remote, even when using the Fire Stick/Fire TV.
