How do I change picture size to full screen null

On home screen with profile pic on left and gear or cog wheel on far right scroll to gear to see page with grey boxes. Open one that says display and sounds. Scroll down to Display settings tap circle to open the different inputs (each input can have different or same settings) select input you want to change select picture size and you can choose between Full wide 1 2 or 3. 4.3 or Native

This is not dependent on the smart TV but your content provider. For example, if you watch a movie on any subscription service or purchased vender, then you will see those black bars on top and bottom screen anywhere no matter you watch it on TV, computer screen or any tablet. If you watch any TV show episode, then you will not see those black bars. The reason is how the video is made by the content provider instead of the device.
