Q: QuestionRAM upgradable?Is the memory upgradable on this laptop?

• A:Answer Yes, the Intel chipset and CPU type can see up to 16GB's of DDR3L PC3-1600, w/ latency 11. The DIMM's are reachable by taking off the bottom plate. There are four screws located under the rear feet. Each foot has two screws. The front feet do not have any screws located under them. Use a credit card to break the shell apart and do it slowly. There is a cable for the side ports that is attached to the lower plate and it you remove it to quickly you will rip it apart.

Q: QuestionHave the widely reported WiFi issues been fixed on this model?

• A:Answer As the older version uses an Intel AC 7260 card, this newer iteration has an Intel AC 7265 card. I personally have no WiFi problems with it. As I don't have a 802.11ac router I connect via the 2.4GHz band and get my normal expected speed through several areas in my house. Check out this picture:

Q: Questionany keyboard problems when using as a tablet?It appears that the keyboard is face down when you're using this as a tablet. Are there any problems with accidently pushing keyboard buttons since you're holding it on your lap, in your arm, or laying it on a surface? Or is the computer somehow smart enough to disable the keyboard when in tablet mode? Thank you.

• A:Answer No problems at all, whenever you fold it to use it as a tablet. The keyboard automatically disables and wont let you accidentally type up anything. I know because sometimes I have it on my lap folded and the only you can type when you're using it as a tablet is with the touchscreen keyboard.

Q: Questionprocessor speed of 2.4ghzhi all I bought this laptop last week. when I checked the properties iam seeing that the processor speed is 2.4 ghz. however the advertised speed of the laptop as per bestbuy website is 3ghz. anyone seeing this issue ?

• A:Answer Turbo Boost. Gets 2.4GHZ but can turbo to 3.0 when needed. Most of time, unless you are ultimate multitasking, you will never reach 3.0GHZ.

Q: QuestionBest Buy used to sell a Radius 15.6" with a 256gb SSD. Why was it discontinued? Defective? Is it coming back?

• A:Answer It was the 4th gen i7 processor one. That one had a faulty WiFi card so it was discontinued. Also the new 5th generation came out. In all honesty, they charged 200 dollars more for a sdd similar to the Samsung evo 840. That's more than it cost and for a computer expert to install. Just buy a Samsung evo 850 or pro 850 (119-159) and install. Its pretty easy. Or just pay someone 40 to do it. Unless you live in a big city, like la or NYC. Then it cost like 150.

Q: QuestionIs this capable of editing and outputting 4K video, from a GoPro for example?I have a GoPro, record in 4K, have a 4K capable tv to watch the videos straight off the camera, BUT I don't have a computer that can handle the 4K video playback, editing, and output over HDMI. Help? Thanks!

Q: QuestionScreen brightness and wifiI just purchased this laptop 5 days ago and I can't seem to get over how dim the screen is. I've upped the brightness, have it on high performance, went into the store and had a sales associate help me. I came home and spent about an hour changing all the settings in the Intel graphics section and it's slightly better but the whites seem cream still. I have it sitting next to my older Toshiba I'm replacing the color is better on the older one. Also I purchased a new laptop for the main reason that my current Toshiba kept dropping wifi. Within an hour I'd loose wifi atleast 5 times. I assumed it was the laptop, being that it's 5 years old, but this new one is having connectivity issues also. I know it's the not the wifi since the Xbox One, 3 cellular phones and 3 tablets (not in use at the same time) are not having any issues. I want to keep this laptop but if I can't figure out what's going on I'll return it.

Q: QuestionThe laptop chargerI just got this laptop a few days ago and it is amazing, but the charger gets wicked hot. I know it is normal for them to heat up, but the adapter is extremely hot. Is this okay? I just don't want it to damage my computer in any way or maybe even start a fire.

• A:Answer We have had the same type of laptop for a couple of months and have not had the same issue with the charger. Our charger barley warms up at all and we have the charge plugged in continuously and plug in the laptop every evening to charge. I would definitely suggest taking it in to be looked at.
