• We have had 12 devices connected when using the router in a hotel conference room. No issues.

• The total amount of efficiently connected devices will depend on the overall bandwidth demand of said devices, and your Internet plan's bandwidth. The 2.4GHz band typically has more narrow bandwidth than the 5GHz band, which may also affect the amount of efficiently connected devices. Regards, TP-Link Support
