Q: QuestionMy friend in VA has Hughes Net (Satellite) for her Internet. There isn't another option. Will this router perform better than the crappy equipment HUGES provides? Loading/sending e-mail is slow; videos impossible.

• A:Answer There are 2 slots on the back or underside of the router. They are designed to fit over the head of small screws. I have a small wire hooked into each hole at each end of the wire. The wire is then hooked over a screw head in the wall.

If your service plan allows for an ONT instead of the gateway, you may be able to use that in conjunction with the router. • A:Answer It is clearly better than the Xfinity built in WiFi that comes installed on every modem. The dual band feature alone is worth the difference. With slightly older model Samsung TVs, it is a good investment. I did add a fire stick which made the video stream more solid over the 100 foot run through several walls.

• A:Answer The router does not use cellular network so GSM does not apply. The router is for broadcasting wi-fi signals in your house or apartment. The feed to the router needs to come from a cable internet service provider, either coax or fiber. That connects to a modem that is in turn connected to the router to broadcast a signal allowing you to connect to the internet.
