- Answer The Archer AX6000 supports PPTP and OpenVPN server capabilities. Yes, it can be used with Comcast Internet services as long as you have an existing modem, such as your Mororola CM1000. Regards, TP-Link Support

- Answer Yes - ideally you would want to set your AT&T U-Verse gateway in bridge (modem only) mode, then configure the AX6000 as your primary router for best results. Regards, TP-Link Support

QuestionIs this the Version 1 (or 1.6) Hardware version or the Hardware Version 2? There is a decided difference in functionality and speed between the two versions. Version 1 also no longer gets firmware updates.

- Answer I use with frontier fios. You will need a network network cable not coaxial to hook up. Depending on your subscription and wiring options it may require additional work. I have internet only, no tv. Your service may have coaxial running to your router, that may need changed if you are replacing verizon router with this.

- Answer No this is not compatible with Coax cable. This is ONLY for (RJ45) Ethernet cable only. Ethernet in a and Ethernet out. hope this helps. Thanks

- Answer when new standards are developed, usually the device will be compatible with previous standards. I choose this to upgrade to WiFi 6 but it will work will all the previous standards, WiFi 5,4 etc.

- Answer wpa3 is the upcoming soon to be offered encryption. If you're looking for future proofing now, the router should have this however it can be pushed with firmware so who knows, if you don't have it then now it could come later. It's too new to tell. There are a lot of result for wpa3 too if you quick search.

QuestionI changed the name and password on my new AX6000 and started to update some plugs and switches. When I was unable to connect my Directv box the DTV tech had me reset the router. It reset the name and password to factory settings which is not good
