A:Answer Hi! That would depend on whether your install the Deco in Router Mode (default) or Access Point Mode. If you install it in Router Mode, the devices that are connected to your existing modem/router will be separated from the devices that connect to the Deco, and a double NAT scenario will be introduced.
Please note that if you would prefer the Deco to operate as your primary router, you may need to configure the existing modem/router in modem-only mode or bridge mode, and ensure your network devices (both wired and wireless) are all connected to the Deco using either Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
However, if you install the Deco in Access Point Mode, all of your devices that connect to the existing modem/router and to the Deco will remain on the same logical LAN/network. Please note that in Access Point Mode, some Router/Management features of the Deco will not be available via the Deco app.
