Yes Kevin, it will work and I'm using it with my mini every day.

Yes, I had no difficulty connecting it to the Google Home app.

This will work with Google Home and Amazon Alexa.

I use it with Amazon Alexa, however I looked at Google Assistant documentation, https://assistant.google.com/platforms/speakers/#find-speakers which would mean, I believe it would work with Google Home. With Alexa I just use my Amazon Echo device to do anything that Alexa will do, like add something to my calendar. I do have Sonos speakers that work with Alexa, however it's a one way communication, they will only play music and not respond to commands.
