Yes it can provide power to a tv (on/off). Just need to ensure the tv will turn on after power is applied, some tv models will not turn on after they lose power, they require you to use the tv remote in order to turn back on. Simple test is to unplug it and see if it turns back on by itself after you plug it back into the power outlet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this plug will operate devices with hard shut downs such as lights. Electronics such as TVs use soft shut downs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not likely. Your TV has internal power controls so that even when it has power, it is not necessarily on. Your TV will not necessarily turn on just because your smart plug is turned on; however if your TV is already on, it will turn off if you turn off the smart plug because you have disabled power to the TV. This smart plug is to turn on/off anything that would turn on as soon as you plug it in, such as a lamp for example.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use this plug to provide power to the TV and control the power being delivered to the TV. Therefore you can turn off the TV from anywhere you are using the Kasa app on your smart phone but turning your TV on may not be an option. Depends on the TV. Most recent TVs do not turn on when plugged into the wall outlet. The plug will act just like plugging the TV into the wall outlet. The TV will receive power, but if the TV is not designed to turn on, it will remain off until turned on by either the remote control or the power button on the TV. If you are trying to use the TV as a sound source for security while away, then I suggest a older style radio that will turn on by just plugging it into a wall outlet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It all depends on your T.V. Because some televisions do not turn on when you use an outlet with a switch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only if if your TV is one that will turn on without a remote control. Not sure how you plan to use it, but I'm going to say no. Good Luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not Automatically. Have to use phone app and have a good wi-fi signal where ever you are with your phone to manually turn on and off.
