• For a smooth transition from one router to another, we recommend configuring your new router with the same SSID (WiFi name) and password as your previous router. This will allow your WiFi devices to automatically connect. However, if you intend to use a different WiFi name and password for your new router, you will need to perform a WiFi reset on your smart plug (press and hold the button for 5 seconds) then re-add it to your new network via the Kasa app. Our Support Team is always happy to answer any questions you might have.
