• Video can be set to record for detected motion, on a schedule, or 24/7. Video is stored on a San disk. Not included in purchase. It is saved until disk is full and then recorded over. You can view the recorded video via the app.

• I've only used a SD card. It records about 3weeks (haven't used too long so I can't say exact). If you have the notification for movement it saves it highlighted and you can go back to it. Or you can also go back and view the entire day. I been formatting SD card so it won't get full and stop recording. I don't see anywhere you can "save" a certain video but you can take a video of your screen, that might help.
