You should call Geek Squad. They can help you check your connections. Also, when we had 5 of them (plus 2 security system cameras and everything else in our home) running off the same wifi, we also had problems connecting from a distance. You may need to upgrade your home internet. If your phone drops calls, you might need a better phone service. (Geek Squad can figure that out with you).
