Yes, this is totally possible. Purchasing this service will give you a digital link to a 15 digit code that you can share with the phone owner so they can add it to their phone - They text the word "Add" to 611611 from their phone and follow the prompts to enter the 15 digit code and viola! That is the easiest way to 'gift' this service to someone that is able to manage their own account. Or, if you have access to their online account (like I manage for my mother located in another state), you can log on thru the TracFone website, select the phone line to add service too and apply the code for them remotely online. I think TracFone also has a 1-800 service number, where it may be possible to apply the 15 digit code remotely if you know the phone number you want to add it to, but I haven't tried this myself.
