- Answer Go to this web address for TracFone area service map. https://www.tracfone.com/coverage/mapresults?zip=24224 Copy and paste the whole address and it will tell you that this zip code is invalid. Did you type it in correctly? Ether way their website says that the service is nation wide. Good luck

QuestionThis seems like a great smartphone for my son, but I don't want him to have data right away-just talk and text with ability to use wi-fi. If no data is purchased, can this phone still utilize wi-fi?

- Answer Hi Terra, I strongly feel that the answer is YES. I had to replace my sim card that was damage during the activation process and of course would not have data for WiFi functionality. Nevertheless, I was still able to used the WiFi at my home, at school, and other public free WiFi hotpots. But don't hesitate to ask a TracFone rep to make sure I am correct.

- Answer You don't need one, I run without it for best battery life and speed. It comes with 10gigs free and if that's enough then don't bother installing one.

Questioni have an active tracfone smartphone with triple minutes. does the triple minutes feature transfer with my minutes etc?

- Answer I switched my plan with Tracphone and it moved over in a couple of hours. Since it's a Tracphone branded one, it comes with triple minutes for life anyway, no matter which plan you have, but it will transfer over. The carrier will change to Verizon LTE, Verizon uses a different way of moving data so I don't think it can be used with the other tracphone providers, might have to call and ask someone but I doubt it. Reception is awesome with Verizon so I wouldn't change a thing about this phone.

- Answer Yes, the Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro is CDMA compatible, and NOT GSM. As for accessories, the box only contains the basic things: battery, short USB cable, and a USB wall plug for charging.

QuestionI bought the j3 luna and I can't get the flash to work, nor turn on the light for using as a flashlight. This phone is new to me and i switched from a flip phone so you can see I don't know much.

- Answer Swipe down once to open the short menu of quick links. Then swipe down again to expand that. There should be a "Flashlight" button visible. That allows you to toggle the flashlight on and off easily. If the light does not turn on from this menu, then there is likely a problem with the device. Good luck.

- Answer No. Tracfone smartphones do not support the double or triple minute plans anymore. however, the prices for adding minutes, texts, or data (all available as groups or separately) are very reasonable, in my opinion. Good luck.

QuestionThe phone does not have camera settings. I have flash settings. I can swipe up or down to use selfie mode. Wondering if I need to activate something or add an app or if I have a phone defect? No other camera settings are available I can find.

- Answer When you launch the camera app you should see a little gear symbol near the top right. If you press that it should bring up a page of settings where you can change picture size and other things. You can also swipe from left to right and from there you can change camera modes like "auto" and "pro" and "panorama".

- Answer I have been a TracFone user for a long time. I have been using Google voice for a couple years now. May be five. You can use Google voice on TracFone. So like you mentioned, you can use GV using data, or local WiFi. Call quality maybe impacted. There is many great features that come with GV. Note: your friends must call the GV phone number. Then you must answer it when the GV applet is diplayed. Otherwise it will forward to your cell number, and use minutes.

- Answer This model number is SM-S327VL and Google says that WiCall is comparable with it. All of my Wi-Fi features work on this phone. I also know that Magic Jack Wi-Fi app will work.
