• A:Answer It is made out of plastic, probably it will float, but certainly will get damaged. It does not look water resistant to me.

• A:Answer Doh! I am wrong! Sorry! The product description states: "The XSound Go has a built in Microphone for handsfree speakerphone calls from Smartphones and iPhones. It also has built in support for Siri. Press and hold the multifunction button to access." Mine must be an earlier version that does not have this feature. Sorry.
