I don't think there is a difference with Digital and Download. I don't recall if there was a choice for download or CD when I bought this online, but the product description says Digital Download, which just means you download the install file once you get the email to download the file. If you need to install on a different computer, you can just put the install file on a USB flash drive to transfer it. The file is 215 MB so even a cheap 8 GB flash drive will work.

In one sense, it's better than the CD as the software on the CD is already out of date and would need to be updated. The download will be the most current version of the software with the minor updates already applied.
