Do I plug it in to the Xbox or monitor null

To the back of the t.v. they are for gaming

I would use the monitor if possable, then you get any audio that goes through the tv. And since the line that goes to use the mic is on amp adjustment, you can just use the mic when you want.

It plugs into the xbox via usb for power, and the controller for chat only. YOU WILL NOT GET GAME SOUNDS WITH THIS, ONLY CHAT. It comes with a separate cable that plugs from the in line control of the headset to the controller jack. It's very strange and cumbersome. Headset cord is oike 12 ft long lol.

Either one depends how you like it. Listen to tv too or x box

The USB goes into Xbox and tbe other part goes into controller.

Depending the version of xbox the person has, this product does not work on xbox one. The product comes with everything that is needed for the xbox. For the xbox 360, plug the mic in the controller and the rest on the monitor.
