Yes. Keep in mind, though, that the microphone is not noise canceling. It will pick up "room noise" such as other people talking or the dog barking or the television sound.

Theoretically, yes. It really depends on your work. I can safely say YES if your work involves something with computers and you it using the MS Edge app that runs on the XB1. You just plug the headset into the controller and you can use it as a headset/chat device for your job. And a surprising amount of work related things can be used with the stunted version of Edge on the XB1. If your work can only be done on a desktop, laptop, etc., then the answer switches to "maybe" and that depends on a lot of factors. It may "work" and it may not. You're better off buying a dedicated PC headset and mic set up than risking this may work.
