There is an app you can download on your phone and you can control the settings better. Also, you can go to the turtlebeach website and update software on your headphones

First, please take the time to ensure that your headset & its USB transmitter have been fully updated to the newest firmware available via the Audio Hub for Windows or MacOS. Doing that may have an affect on your microphone's sensitivity if you have not updated the headset just yet. After updating the headset, you can pair the headset to a smartphone for use with the Mobile Audio Hub App for Android or iOS. That app will give you the ability to access some additional adjustable features on the headset. One of those features is known as Noise Gate, and it's in place for situations where you may have a bunch of background noise. Turn this setting on and see if it has any affect on what you're experiencing. Should you continue to have the same experience, please take the time to get in contact with our dedicated Support Team.
