I'm not an expert on this ... but since this product was for my son, I asked him. He said that the pop filter was so that you didn't pick up "white noise" and extra unintended sounds while recording. That is about all I know -- hope this helped.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The boom stick/arm/stand allows for the mic to be floating on top of your desk and not directly on the desk/table. This will reduce the noise produced from your keyboard or other device being capture by the microphone. The pop filter is to improve the voice quality. The stream mic is great, try it without the other accessories first before buying the other stuff.
