A:AnswerYes, it will work with a curve TV too. The kit have spacers included so you can attach the bracket to your TV without damaging it and instructions are included for the installation of both, curve and non-curve TV.
A:AnswerThe entire assembly is rather heavy and might become top heavy and unstable. My setup is stable on the carpet as is. But is difficult to move even only several inches either way. I would not add castors
A:AnswerThe lower the TV is mounted on the brackets, the better it will hold the tilt. Mount it too high, and it simply becomes too top heavy. I have a 55" mounted on mine, and it has no trouble at all holding the tilt.
A:AnswerYes, it can stand on its own. Dunno if it would be safe to have people walking behind it in an open concept thing... it is designed with the expectation that a wall is behind it. There would be obvious safety issues if it were in a setting where people would walk behind it.
The kit comes with a wall "hook" so that it doens't tip over if some kid crawls on the shelves...but it isn't a weight bearing fixture.
A:AnswerI believe so. It's good for up to 55 inches. I love the fact that you can hang it up or just put it on the stand. Great purchase in my opinion.
A:AnswerYes it does, it comes w/ everything you would need to mount via free standing or wall mount. Free standing, the height is adjustable as well as swivel side to side about 30 degrees as well as pan up and down.
