A:AnswerIt is a great idea to tether the TV to the wall to prevent tip-over. I don't believe tethering it down low would provide greater safety from tip-over so long as your TV is on a non-slip stand.
This stand does not have a tether point provided. The thick tempered glass top sits on top, and is fastened to a metal frame. You could drill a hole in the rear of the metal frame and use a sheet metal screw to attach your tether if you chose to.
A:AnswerYes it can. A 65" TV is measured diagonally (i.e. screen bottom left corner to screen top right corner). So for example an average 65" TV could have the dimensions 57.66" (wide) x 33.46" (high) x 3.07" (depth).
A:AnswerNo, I doubt it. I have a 70" Vizio on it and it just barely fits. I guess it depends on where the leg stands are on your tv. The closer to the ends of the tv...the less likely it will fit on here.
A:AnswerDoes not come assembled. Comes in a long flat box. Assembly is pretty easy though. You only need a screwdriver. It unfolds like an accordion and you just slide the shelves and top in and then screw in the screws to tighten it together.

A:AnswerOur space was about 64" and it was a tight fit with a little slack. It measures 63". It will be a very tight fit for you. Good luck.
Also, we really like this cabinet. good quality, good looking. Only shortfall. No ventilation so AV power amp got too hot inside. Has to sit on top.
A:AnswerYes. With room to spare. But I would consider mounting the TV to the wall several inches about the cabinet. You can pick up a mount for ~$35 and I think it looks nicer, put the TV at a better viewing level and frees up the nice looking glass top for other stuff.
A:AnswerI have a 75" on mine. Your 77" will extend beyond each end a couple of inches but as long as it weighs less than 125 lb weight limit it should be OK.
A:AnswerCall insignia Customer Service’s that unit should still be under warranty for a year, insignia Customer service sucks so it’s been a few months so they may try to say they don’t cover it as you should have called sooner but good luck!
