• I believe this is a manufactured wood but it is very nicely veneered and very solid. I think it worth the asking price. The hinges are nice and so are the gas struts that hold the top up. Don

• Solid wood, including the back piece which is usually particle board. Those pieces even are magnetized to stay on. No stupid little nails.
