QuestionI paired this speaker through Alexa for my Amazon music library and for some reason I can't use the UE App to adjust volume bass etc. I can download the UE app but it wont work. My friend can do it through her Iphone . Am I doing something wrong? TY

- Answer Yes there is a auxiliary jack. I believe you can plug headphones in but I’m not sure.

- Answer Yeah unfortunately I've tried both calling and emailing UE and the only answer I ultimately received is I have to wait 2-8 weeks for them to restock it...so I guess I just have to put it away for a couple months

QuestionHB- Love it! Bought a megaboom with plans of buying a 2nd megaboom for whole house audio. Does the primary speaker become the BT Transmitter for all other paired speakers? Phone seems to connect at much greater distance than speaker will to 2nd speaker?

- Answer I bought 2 with the same plan. There is a software glitch in the app (my guess) and this worked for about 10 minutes. Regardless of how close I have the 2 speakers I can't get them to play at the same time. I read similar reviews purporting the same thing.

QuestionHi, I bought 2 Hyperbooms because I wanted to have a wireless left and right speaker for my Sony 4k Bluray player. However, In my 4k player's settings it only allows me to connect to one speaker? I tried the app, but doesn't even read the my 4k player?

- Answer U pair 1 hyperboom to the TV/blu-ray player that supports (Bluetooth) then pair the 2 speakers together with the app.

- Answer Just looked up the demer box right now and it is nothing like the demer box it is more compact and I'm almost positive has more sound output and longer battery life. Mike this is the baddest speaker I've ever owned That's portable.

QuestionAnyone having issues when the two bluetooth connections are paired and both devices are within range? My iPhone cuts off non stop if the second paired device is within range and plays music or videos, even though that connection is not active.

- Answer To answer my own question, the issue was not caused by another phone paired to the Hyperboom, it was my Apple Watch paired to my iPhone. I barely use my Apple Watch so it basically stays in my room. One day I decided to turn it off, that was the end of my issues with the Hyperboom, now my iPhone plays music fine, no more cut off or connections issues.

- Answer The hyper boom is not waterproof, but it is water resistant. That means a little water won’t hurt it, but you cannot have it submerged.

- Answer Yes, you can play without the app but it is nice to adjust the Speaker EQ, download playlists to the speaker, pair other UE speakers to it, and to use the adaptive EQ feature! One of my favorite features is being able to turn the speaker on/off from the app if it is within Bluetooth range!

QuestionAfter fully charging my HypeBoom I played music at max volume. The volume would intermittently lower drastically as some rechargeable speakers do when they have a low battery. How can I use this speaker at full volume without the volume lowering?

- Answer Mine don't do that. I am using an Ipod as a source. Is it possible that the device you are using as a source is lowering the volume to protect your ears. Some devices will do that.
