Q: Questiondoes this speaker have an equalizer or equalizer app? With high frequency hearing loss, the standard booming bass in modern speakers means I can't really hearing anything. My old (ancient) stereo system amp had an equalizer & I could adjust perfectly

• A:Answer Turn off and back on your Bluetooth on your phone. Make sure the eu blue boom box is in pair mode (press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button on your speaker until you hear a sound the Bluetooth light on speaker should be blinking. Sometimes just turning ur Bluetooth on and off will detect it and get it to connect. Just not sure of your details on if speak or phone won't pair for you. If that doesn't work I would reset the Bluetooth speaker. You only want to have to reset your speaker once so never do it more then once it can harm your speaker after a couple times. To reset it Turn on your UE Boom, Hold down the volume down button and the power button at the same time until you hear a sound. Your UE Boom will then turn off. Turn it back on and try to pair it again. Hopefully this is helpful. Best of luck.

• A:Answer Hello Callie! The Boom 2 LE Portable Bluetooth Speaker does not support the Qualcomm® aptX audio codec unfortunately no, which would be a requirement based on Audio-Technica's website. Now in a video from their website https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOMI4gVE1i0 showing how to do the pairing, it does suggest that the turntable should pair with most Bluetooth devices should pair fairly quickly, with no mention of a specific codec being required, so it could potentially work, if that's the case.

• A:Answer Actually the product description says both waterproof and water resistant however mine got water spilled on only a small portion of the speaker, the ports were tightly sealed, the speaker was immediately wiped off and now there's audio distortion so..... the product is wrongfully advertised.

• A:Answer Hello Roxy, the Boom 2 is only capable of connecting via Bluetooth or a 3.5 mm auxiliary port. The Boom 2 does not have other input/output ports. If your karaoke machine can connect via bluetooth or an auxiliary cable, it will work.
