QuestionDo I have to enter a credit cardDo I have to provide a credit card to use the TV. I am not using ROKU or the other apps provided through ROKU. Right now, I just want to use the TV with channels provided by Xfinity.

- Answer No, you do not need a credit card to use this TV. Also, you may not need a credit card to use MANY of the other features on the TV as well. I used the TV right out of the box, and even used some of the apps, never asks you for a credit card unless you are going to use a premium app that you are not already signed up with. (For example, I used the free Pandora no problem.)

- Answer You plug an HDMI from your dish box into the TV. The Roku piece is just software on the TV. It still works like a regular TV.

- Answer Search streaming channels from the HomeScreen menu, for PBS. Follow the prompts. A sign in to your cable provider may be required to view the channel but (typically) free of charge.

- Answer Whenever you are on that input, watching the cable, press the star button to get into this inputs settings. In these settings you will be able to choose advanced settings and then picture size. Adjust this setting until it properly fits the screen.

QuestionWhy is my picture slightly hazy?When viewing Netflix via streaming, picture is beautiful. After I hooked up my small Comcast box, I searched for cable channels. I noticed for some reason I can view my channels through the Antennae source. In my opinion the cable picture is not as clear as when viewing Netflix or at the Best Buy store. Also when I switched to full screen it looks even worse. Switched to a smaller size- pic was slightly better but I want full view. I really like tv, Roku is really cool, just want the whole viewing experience. Any input, I don't want to return.

- Answer It's not the TV, Tony. It's Comcast. I had a similar problem with Time Warner. Second tech that came out said my selected channels were on the antenna feed and switched me to higher numbers. I.e, instead of '9' he switched it to '1209.' Hope that makes sense.

- Answer For any TV, if you want to use wireless Bluetooth headphones, you will need a Bluetooth transmitter. I love the Taotronics 4.0 Bluetooth transmitter I bought through Amazon. Connects to any TV via the 3.5mm input. Can even connect to two Bluetooth headsets at once. Best thing is that it weighs about as much as a quarter so is super portable to be used on any non-Bluetooth device. I also hear the new Apple TV has Bluetooth headphone capability.

QuestionIs there a program guide feature?, How about a SAP button?I expect every modern television to show the info of the current program for each channel but I've noticed that some manufactures are excluding a program guide. Does this have a program guide to show the viewer what's coming up next on over-the-air channels? Also what about the option to change the audio language of over-the-air channels, is this feature included or not?

- Answer there is no local tv guide, but there is a way to go to the channel you like first. the language can be changed during setup, or later in the menu. I like the roku tv better then the roku box, the tv gives you more options.

QuestionSupport for HDMI-CEC and HDMI-ARC?I haven't seen this question asked elsewhere - are any of this TV's hdmi ports CEC labelled or CEC compatible? How many? Also, are any of the hdmi ports ARC? And one last question - are any of the hdmi ports both, or is that impossible? Thanks!

- Answer There are 3 HDMI ports on the TV and they can all do CEC. The HDMI1 port is able to do the ARC function. The HDMI1 port can do both, CEC is required for ARC to work.

QuestionDo you have to pair the remote like you do on a Roku box?I'm looking at using two of these tvs in the same room and am hoping that you have to pair the remotes for these tvs like you do the Roku boxes. That way when I change the channel on one remote, it doesn't change the channel on both tvs.

- Answer The TV comes with its own remote, which controls the Roku and TV. I have 2 other Roku boxes in my house, and I have not had any issues with this TV remote affecting the other boxes.

QuestionCan this be used as a PC Monitor as well?Looking to get this TV for my Xbox One, PS4 and my gaming PC. My current Samsung 720p just isn't getting it done on the PC front as many of the apps on the new Windows OS can't even open due to the low resolution. Will this TV work as a PC monitor?

- Answer Yes, if you have a Media PC capable of connecting via HDMI, then it will connect with HD quality. Unfortunately this TV model does not support VGA or DVI, so if those are your only output options on the computer this TV will not be a viable alternative.

- Answer Yes, the TV remote doesn't have channel buttons or any of the controls you'd find for controlling channels (search, favorites, etc). Insignia strictly wants the Roku remote to be used for it's many apps and features on the TV and stresses the use of either universal or set-top remotes for controlling your cable or satellite (which will easily be routed through the TVs smart menu)

QuestionHow is the sound?I know the thing that seems to be the problem with a lot of flatscreen TVs is the sound is not very good. I have an Insignia now and it sounds great. So, how is the sound on the Roku version? If it is good, than after I get my camera lens, final cut pro and a welder, I will get this baby.

- Answer Hi Jack, You can change picture settings whenever you are watching video by pressing the Star key on the remote. There are picture presets and there are also an advanced picture settings allowing more precise control of the picture.

QuestionWhat's the difference between open box and new

- Answer Open Box could mean a couple of things. The box could of been damaged or torn while transporting in warehouse, the item could of been on display then repackaged, or the item could of been returned. I got my TV Open Box and it is literally brand new. Saved a good amount of money as well. Highly recommended.
