It’s a speed measurement tactic generally used/measured from an elevated position (bridge/aircraft) to observe distance and time relationship. Officer starts a timer at known point and ends timer at “finish line” Calculation is made and observation is radioed to ground unit to issue citation. Not detectable in advance by any electronic device. This enforcement tactic is somewhat uncommon except for certain municipalities/provinces.
