QuestionI have read that for a number of other projectors that you need a firestck to watch subscribed streaming services. Is a firestick needed for this product as well? It is listed as having wi fi do I still need the fire or roku stick ? Thanks

- Answer Hi JackD, thanks for asking. You will also need a TV stick to stream Netflix or other streaming services to the projector. Since all content on these streaming services, such as Netflix, is classified by the HDCP protocol, our projector cannot stream movies over the phone. The same things apply to HBO, Disney+, Prime Video, HULU and others. Note: UGC content on Youtube and TikTok is not subjected to the protocol.

- Answer This projector has a great picture for the price. It's very light and you can definitely take it places. Product has great image quality if the room is dark. Don't expect to watch anything with any kind of lights on.

QuestionI tried to connect a Roku stick and a fire stick and neither will work. The Roku will work for a sec and then when the Roku remote is pressed it goes to no signal. The fire stick will connect but not play sound. Is the projector not compatible with these?

- Answer Hi there, Thanks for asking. If the fire stick can be connected but the Roku stick cannot, I'm afraid that the Roku stick is not compatible with the projector. Regarding the sound issue with the fire stick, please go to Settings on your stick - Display&Audio - Audio - Surround Sound - select PCM. Once selected, the projector can decode the audio from the stick. Hope this helps. ---Vankyo Service Team

QuestionCan you clean the inside of the projector (the bulb and/or inside of the lens)? There are some specks that show up on the picture and I've thoroughly cleaned the outside of the lens, so I think there is dust on the inside of the projector.

- Answer For your issue, please follow these steps to troubleshoot. 1. Try to tap the projector slightly to see if the dust inside can be shaken off. 2. Clean the lens with non-woven fabrics. 3. QuestionHi I am purchasing this as a Christmas gift for my daughters family, should I get a firesick or something like that to go with it so they can use it right away to maybe watch a football game? Would it need something like that for that purpose?

- Answer i use a firestick lite with it, but beware because on mine the shortcut buttons to programs like netflix and disney plus, the home button, and the alexa button make the projector disconnect. when it does you need to switch from input hdmi1 to hdmi2 and keep doing it till the picture reappears. i had the same problem with google tv chromecast, but with the firestick lite the back button works, so you can navigate out of programs. it just takes more work. if you already have a laptop or ipad, get an hdmi cable to connect it directly. i’ve used my ipad on it and it works great

Please adjust the distance between the wall/screen and the projector properly as needed. 2. The recommended screen size is about 80 inches at the distance of 8.73ft. 3. - Answer Depends on how far away from the wall you put the projector I suppose. In a dark room you can prob get like 15ft x 8ft (or whatever the math is) and be more than fine. There’s a focus wheel on it so you can probably go bigger (with the projector further from the wall), but I haven’t tried it.

Due to the copyright issues, some streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, HBO and Prime Video from mobile devices to the projector will be banned or restricted. It’s recommended to plug a TV stick or Roku stick into the projector or connect a laptop, Chromecast or wireless dongle to it via HDMI port to stream these services. - Vankyo Support Team
