QuestionCan you get this if you aren't a Verizon customer? We have sprint as a carrier, but cant find a watch like this that has these features. Can you just pay verizon $5 per month.

- Answer Yes you can, but it's more than $5. I have a friend that does this for her daughter, but I think it's $15 if you don't have other services with verizon.

QuestionWhat is the difference between this and a gizmo gadget?

- Answer The biggest difference is the fact that this is LTE vs 3G. So response time will be much faster especially making changes to the gizmo. Outside of this the new additions is additional preset text messages and realtime tracking. With now the ability two have two primary caregivers (Finally!) So it's a step up in peformance and location tracking.

- Answer No alarm but you can use the To-Do list as an alarm. I use it to notify my boys when it’s time to come home when they are playing with friends. Or a reminder about a school project. You can set it as a one time event or reoccurring. And you can set the “alarm” to go on until the child presses the button to stop. That way they can’t say they didn’t hear it or didn’t see it.

- Answer Only pre-programmed text. You can create your pre-program text if you like. But the kid can also leave voice memos. It’s a great product. Only watch phone available. Only $5/month. Great to communicate to kid and parent at anytime. Great for kids that have lots of activities, pickups, errands, etc... I had the Gizmo Gadget watch, they are really cheap now, it will stop work at end of 2019. I got my Gizmo Watch in sake from BB for $110, never pay retail.

QuestionWho manufacturers the new GizmoWatch? I need to file a warranty claim with the manufacturer. One of the buttons stopped functioning properly 13 days in, BB store and phone support gave me run around and now past 14 day return policy. Typical BB service.

- Answer I just bought one so I still have box. From what I can see it looks like Verizon is the manufacture. I bought mine at Best Buy as a Christmas gift online so when I went in to activate at Verizon it seem like they were kind of upset to help me cause I purchased through Best Buy. Verizon customer service 800 922 0204. Also when I went to Verizon to connect watch they asked me if I wanted to add insurance on watch. Just make sure you go to a corporate Verizon not a franchise Verizon cause franchise ones don’t help at all.

- Answer You can add insurance but it costs $10/mo, which is ridiculous for a watch of this price and clearly triples the monthly cost. For what it's worth my daughter dove into a pool while wearing it and it still works. The speaker performance is not what it used to be but the electronics survived the immersion.

- Answer You can choose up to 10 numbers to add to your gizmo watch. If you only enter 2 numbers, those are the only 2 numbers that the watch can call/text and the only 2 numbers that can receive call/text. Any number that you do not add to the watch will not be able to contact the watch.
