Yes, your "red" straight talk sim card will transfer over without unlocking and give you full compatibility. As an alternative, you can transfer your number to verizon prepaid.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Regarding your question "Can I use this phone with straight talk? ", I don't think the first two answers are completely correct. It MIGHT be hardware compatible with Straight Talk, but the phone would also have to be provider/carrier unlocked. This particular model is provider locked to Verizon Prepaid. In order to use it with any other provider (such as Straight Talk), you would have to first get it unlocked. I don't think Verizon will give you the unlock code until after you have had Verizon Prepaid service on THIS phone for 6 months or more likely 1 year. Verizon's policy might be different if you are already an actual Verizon Wireless customer (not just using a Verizon phone with another provider like Straight Talk). I suggest you check Verizon web pages first and then call Verizon Prepaid.
