Q: QuestionDoes this come with an installation disc? My Mac does NOT have a disc drive and I was hoping there's a new version that doesn't require a disc installation, maybe purchase adapter/connectors and download it instead?

Q: QuestionIs this Mac could convert from PAL to ntsc ? I have tape from UK ( PAL )but it’s not working in USA {NTSC)

• A:Answer No, the PAL tape will still need to be played from a PAL player for video capture. If the media (tape) and player do not have matching signal types, they will not output the video and/or audio information correctly for the VIDBOX product to work with. If you are able to get an appropriate matching PAL player for the tape, the VIDBOX product would record the file to a digital format that is neither PAL nor NTSC and would play with modern media players.

Q: QuestionDoes this work with Big Sur version of Mac OS? Also what kind of files does it create if I am just saving the video to disk?

• A:Answer Yes, when you select the app to install from the VIDBOX website, choose the version that accommodates Big Sur. There are separate downloads for older OS versions and current OS versions. The app creates MP4 for video/audio files and MP3 for audio-only files.

Q: QuestionWill this converter, work with and download to a Windows 11 Pro computer?

• A:Answer This product is not designed for Windows 11. The app and software license will not work on a Windows system. The capture device model for Mac may conflict with a feature in Windows 11. If planning to use a Windows 11 system, it would be best to get the Video Conversion for PC product instead.
