So I have. ‘15 pilot and it did not replace the ignition key remote. You get a small fob to keep on your keychain that you could use to start the vehicle. I would also ask them to set up the remote start to be used with your factory key fob. What will happen is you will be able to press the lock button 3 times and it will start the vehicle or they could put in I believe a different combination but ultimately will do the same thing.
