- Answer When Geek squad installed my viper remote, they were able to configure my Lexus keyfob remote to start the car with three click of the lock button - in addition to the viper remotes. Check with your installer for your particular car.

- Answer It will work but beware, call and ask to speak with the installer to let them know about your car. Be aware that It will take much longer and cost a lot more (hundreds). You will also need a part ahead of time that is not listed or included and will likely lose your appointment if they don’t have it. It can take 5 weeks to get a new appointment.

- Answer It comes with a 1 way 1 button remote with 1/4 mile range. On the side of the box are 2 different 2 way remotes (7857v & 7756v) you can upgrade to making this a 2 way system with a 1 mile range.

- Answer Its Bluetooth or transmitter. Bluetooth is about 50 feet away and transmitter is about 500 ft away. No data plan needed.

- Answer I understand your question and am trying to find out the same answer. Do you need to carry the OEM fob, you probably have a push-button start. Will the phone app or Viper fobs allow you to drive the vehicle or do you need to also carry the OEM fob?

- Answer It depends on what remote you have. If you have the standard remote that comes with the security package, the tech may have to reprogram your module on his computer. If you sprung extra for the model 7756 remote with the LED screen, you can do it yourself using the buttons on your remote (function x1, level 1). The manual with instructions is available online.
