QuestionWhat is the maximum time you can set the vehicle to run. I have searched for this many times and it just says "tell your installer how long you want it to run". My question is, can I tell them 4 hours or is the maximum time 20 or 30 minutes.

- Answer I had the DS4 on a car I used to have & also currently on my mother inlaw’s car. I also have the 4806V on our current car, I can confirm the max set run time is one hour.

- Answer No remote start can turn the knobs or push the buttons on your climate control for you. They can’t change physical settings remotely. It does however turn on the climate control system to the last setting before you turned the car off (if it’s cold out most people leave it on heat, opposite of its hot out) and if you have an “auto” setting on your climate control it will heat or cool automatically to your desired temperature. Don’t know anyone who adjusts the temperature mid- remote start, it’s simply to pre-heat or cool the cabin before you get in. Runtime on most remote starts is 15min.

- Answer No, this isn’t a stand alone remote start. It is an add on module so you can use your aftermarket remote start system from your phone. So you have greater range. Uses cellular service to start your car and do other features like lock/unlock. Not Bluetooth

- Answer I used my Total Tech Support to have an expert from Geek Squad install it into my 2016 Toyota Tacoma. I also add the cellular module so can remote start or see the break in from anywhere. I would recommend these products to everyone.
