Q: QuestionMy daughter recently had the catalytic converter stolen off her Toyota Prius. Will any of the alarms you sell come with a feature that will alert you if the car is being jacked up?

• A:Answer None of them “come with” the sensor but they are all available for purchase separately. Tilt sensor , glass break sensor, and shock sensors would be ones to look for to alert you to theft. I’d also suggest doing the cellular module or at least a 2 way unit that way it alerts you to someone tampering with the vehicle. Most thieves barely care about alarm noise anymore

• A:Answer No it's a key fob starter, I have a 2003 ford taurus and I added this to my existing Viper key fob system. Sorry it's not a proximity entry system, you need to activate the lock/unlock on your phone.

• A:Answer Most likely, you need to install either a remote start or car alarm first. This unit is just an add on for cellular/gps for viper alarms and remote starts. I recommend getting the Ds4 system for keyless doors and push start systems.

• A:Answer Yes you can lock/open doors trunk even set off the car alarm etc from state to state not sure about kill switch though but with the right subscription you’re able to track your car movements in real time. (Don’t select the basic subscription which is like 6.99 if you wanna be able to track in real time)
