• A:Answer The blades to spin fast enough to make a soup. We have done it ourselves after our purchase. Admittedly, I felt one batch still needed a little further warming after, but we had perfectly edible batches as well right out of the blender.

Q: QuestionThe specs and description mention 240V - this unit is an attachment for the Vitamix base - no electricity needed in the attachment - so I'm wondering why the 240V description. What am I missing???

• A:Answer Hi! We are not certain where it is listed about it being 240V. This product does not have any electrical power on its own, it needs either a Vitamix Ascent or Venturist unit to run.
