QuestionIt says audio format not supported when I watch certain movies on D+ or Netflix...if a movie is in DTS it does not want to play. I used the optical wire is something wrong with it or did I do something wrong during setup?

- Answer I have a Vizio TV, but I think the issue can be with all TV brands. I had the same issue. Not only did my bar not come with the connector cables for sound, but the User Manuel doesn't help. So at some point the Sound bar says, FORMAT IS NOT COMPATIBLE, PLEASE CHANGE YOUR TV AUDIO SETTINGS To FORCE PCM. Hope this helps. Now I'm taking it back to Bestbuy , to get a refund since it doesn't have the sound cord .

QuestionWhat length is it and what kind of audio connection to the tv and how is it powered?

- Answer The length is 20 inches. It comes with 2 different ways to connect to a TV. The best one to use is the "digital audio" cable connection. If your TV is older, there are also the old-style RC cables for hookup. those are the red and white tip ones. it's powered by a separate power cord that needs to be plugged into an electrical outlet.

- Answer It can connect via Bluetooth to your phone or tablet to play audio, but to connect to a TV you'll need a cord.

QuestionI do not hear very well for the most part. When people speak correctly, I am fine; however, when I do not see their lips move, or they mumble, I am in trouble! Will this sound bar help me?

- Answer I think so. My own hearing is still pretty good, but my tv's speakers would rumble-buzz so loudly that I could only guess what the actors were saying. Now I have no problems understanding what is being said.

QuestionI have trouble hearing dialogue on my Samsung 55inch smart tv. Will this soundbar help with that or should I get a better one. Is it reallly easy to set up for someone who isn't tech savvy?

- Answer This is the only soundbar I have tried. Very easy to set up, basically plug & play. It did help with my hearing problem, but don't expect a miracle. I could not tell a lot of difference . Lowest price one I could find, probably better results with a higher end one.

- Answer Out of the box no, you won’t have a way to connect headphones. There is no 3.5mm jack connection. It does have a single RCA port, intended for a subwoofer. You could probably connect headphones to the RCA but you would need an adapter. Your headphones are two channel and the output is single channel. You would need an RCA adapter that would split the signal.

- Answer No. It doesn't. There isn't an Aux port to connect speakers, a subwoofer, nor headphones.

- Answer Usually, the SONY Bravia TVs have digital and optical audio connections. I used the optical connection.

- Answer Jake, The specs aren’t easily published and the electrical rating info isn’t as clear as you’d expect from the speaker nameplate but here’s what I can gather... The sound bar is rated at 10W. From what I can see it has 2 speaker (left and right channels). So theoretically, at full power, each speaker is 5W. Truth be told, unless you have a serious home stereo you are adding this to, its plenty loud and has plenty of bass for a tv. I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality and output from this speaker. For the price it’s solid.

- Answer Hello, This soundbar is designed to work with a subwoofer which is connected directly to the port on the back, it will not connect wirelessly to a subwoofer.
