Update the firmware via manufacturer website. If that doesn’t work, try this: The issue may be the AutoVA function. Factory reset your soundbar, pair your phone or tablet through the actual bluetooth input just to be safe, and turn off the AutoVA function in the setup menu.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a sharp sound bar and my neighbor used to be able to connect to it because it showed up as one of the devices in the Bluetooth choices. I am able to cancel the Bluetooth standby mode. When I turn off the sound bar I do the next action necessary to cancel this Bluetooth standby mode. That way it is not seen as available and no one accessed it. P
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Keeping the sound bar off of the Bluetooth input will prevent anyone from playing audio to your sound bar. If they are able to change the input on the sound bar to Bluetooth without your knowledge or permission, that would indicate they are on your Wi-Fi network which would then allow them to change the input to Bluetooth themselves and start to play content. In that case, you will want to speak with your Wi-Fi service provider about securing your Wi-Fi network so they cannot access it and change the inputs on your devices anymore.
