Yes. It is cable ready. Works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This TV has a built in NTSC (analog) and ATSC (digital) broadcast tuner. It picks up both older analog OTA as well as digital OTA channels. It shows cable tuning capability, though I haven't used this function explicitly . It does search for cable channels during auto search mode, so should work fine for cable use where conventional analog block channel broadcast mode is still used (no cable box required for traditional analog CATV channels). But, as most cable co's are now using encrypted digital signal distribution, cable ready tuning may be less than useful these days.
