The soundbar has 3 different types of inputs. Input type 1 is an Optical Input . If your CD Player has an Optical output (Fiber Optic) then yes, it will work. Input type 2 is an 1/8" 2.5mm Jack (Standard Headphone) . If your CD Player has a Standard Headphone output then it will work. Input type 3 HDMI . If your CD Player has an HDMI output then it will work. If your CD player is a component with RCA Outputs (1/4" Jack) . You will need to purchase a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter.

Yes, you can connect any audio device to this unit by use of the AUX input . The best part is this unit includes all the cable you may need.
