You can send a link from the Youtube app on your smart phone or tablet to the Youtube app on your TV. You must be on the same wireless network and logged in to the same account on both devices to have access to this feature. The second screen interactivity is limited to this function.

However we bought this for outdoor use so the sound quality not as big of an issue compared to using it indoors/another location.
