Q: QuestionIf I connect this tv to my directv service will I be able to pause and rewind “live tv?” Bought a Roku and you cannot pause any live tv - apparently it’s not compatible need to know before I buy this one. Thanks.

• A:Answer The ability to pause content will depend on the device that you are viewing the content through. When watching over the air TV channels through the VIZIO TV, the Roku device and controls will not have any effect on the over the air channels.

• A:Answer The Vizio 40" TV is thin on the top and sides. It wouldn't be suitable for attaching a sound bar directly to the top or sides. The thicker, sturdier part of the TV is at the bottom.

• A:Answer This TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device.
