“The Vizio remote is also controlling my LG TV. Is there a way to program the Vizio remote to control only the Vizio? Both TV's are in the same room, so it's an issue. If not programmable, is there maybe something that can convert IR to RF?”

I have the same problem with a 4k LG and a D series Vizio. I use the phone apps. That is the only way to solve the problem.

But if the vizio for my computer is off and my tv is on and I hit the power button to turn the vizio for the computer off the LG tv turns on. So what I did was this. If I'm try I g to not play the cat and mouse game of on and off. I keep the tv off for the computer and just turn my SLEEP timer on for the LG. Tv turns off when the timer hits 0 and the tv for the computer just stays off. OR I just thought of this now. Of you want place something Infront of whatever tv your using you don't want affected by the remote. Just block the sensor.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Vizio lg and element use the same remotes a work with all 3 TV but some of the buttons dont works also be careful on the lg remote one of the button if you press on vizio tv it will ask for a code
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is not a way to change the remote to RF frequencies. This LG and the VIZIO television must have similar codes the cause this confusion.
