• Yes, this TV is able to connect to mobile hotspots. You may need to go into the iPhone hotspot settings and enable Maximize Compatibility before the TV will connect however, it will connect. Thanks!

• Most likely, no. Most TV's REQUIRE ethernet (a cord that hooks directly to an internet box) OR a 5Hz internet connection. Most hotspots (depending on what iPhone you have), don't support that high of a connection, making it so the TV doesn't see it or if it does, will say there is no internet connection / be SUPER slow on streaming apps.
