• You cannot turn the subwoofer off however you can adjust the bass and surround settings to reduce the subwoofer audio.

• Unfortunately the answer is no. The subwoofer is connected to the sound bar wirelessly however the satellite speakers are connected via wires to the subwoofer. Therefore if you disconnect the subwoofer from the sound bar you will lose the connection to the satellite speakers as well.
