QuestionJust purchased this unit, setting up in our new home in 3 wks. The adaptive height, auto-rotating spkrs are a game changer for Atmos & DTS-X. Can they also be manually rotated up via the remote or mobile app to enjoy non-surround movies/content?

- Answer Add-on devices can be added to the TV with one of the inputs on back of the TV. You will then want to adjust the input on the TV screen as well to the same input you plug the device in to.

QuestionMy 4k DVD player does not support Dolby atmos. I have the 4k DVD player hooked up via hdmi directly to the soundbar. When I watch a 4k movie that has Dolby atmos, the soundbars' speakers rotate up, indicating Dolby atmos is detected. How is this possible?

- Answer The Elevate system will work with any TV with compatible connections. It is recommended to use the HDMI ARC connections.

- Answer Sure. Which year model of P series do you have? I am using it with a P55-E1 which has an ARC port. I would suggest to use the HDMI ports on the soundbar for your streaming devices or BluRay player that supports Atmos or DTS-X. The ARC/eARC may have problem with certain TV or devices in passing through high bit rate data to the soundbar.

- Answer It depends on your setup. I can control the volume with my TV remote, the Chromecast remote, or the Shield controller as I have them all setup with CEC.

QuestionI have a new Sony OLED TV, a 4K Blu-Ray player, and this sound bar. What would be the best way to connect al three together? Would it be best to use the eARC from the TV to the sound bar and then input the Blu Ray into the sound bar?

- Answer It doesn't matter which way you connect them together. Regardless you'll want to connect your soundbar to the tv visa eARC for sound. For video you can connect the 4k player to the tv or use the soundbar inputs. The latter forces you to use 3 remotes, the tv for power, the soundbar remote for volume and input and the 4k bluray player remote to control the movies. Likely, if your tv has cec control, it will control your soundbar power and volume, eliminated the need for your soundbar remote if you connect your bluray player to your tv.

QuestionCan you flexibly position the wall mount brackets to align with studs? It’s confusing because the manual I found online says there is a wall mount template which implies there is a single position Vizio wants the brackets attached.

- Answer With the holes on the wall mounts, I don't think there is no room for adjustment. Nevertheless, you can easily have a plywood strip fixed on the wall at the stud and then put the wall mounts on it.

QuestionIs anybody else having trouble turning off the soundbar after about an hour and a half of use? I tried turning it off with the controller and manually but nothing.

- Answer Hi, i have the same problem. Spoke to Vizio and they made me reboot the system by unplugging the bar and hold the power bottom for 20 seconds, then plug the bar again and it started to work and turn off normally. Unfortunately this was good for 1 day and after the issue started again! Called vizio again and was told to perform the same procedure,.. so really sucks! If this keep on occurring i may return it.
