- Answer No because it needs to be linked to the sound bar wirelessly. You can however connect another pair of speakers to the subwoofer provided

- Answer I cannot say yes for sure. However, they are directly wired into the subwoofer like regular speakers so it is possible it will work. Since the package comes complete though you do not need to use your own rear speakers.

- Answer Digital Coax cable is connected from the sound bar to your Set top. HDMI is only for picture. Optical cable goes from your gaming system to your sound bar. Connect another HDMI from gaming system to your TV. This sill give you the best sound from your gaming system and TV.

- Answer Optical cord, looks like a Home-Phone jack kinda but much smaller. I have my optical cord going to my Xbox One S, then my Xbox connected to my TV via HDMI. Works either way.

- Answer You have the Front main speaker. Then You have the Sub woofer for the base and the 2 back speakers. The 2 back speakers are connected to the sub woofer in the back of the room. The front main speaker is to be installed either above or below the TV. 5.1 means- 2 back 2 front and one center... the .1 is the sub. The front main speaker handles the 2 front and the center in one unit. Hope this helps. The more channels the better. Better separation of sound makes is sound more real!!!
