Here is the thing, even being an Oncologist would not give much more special information on "what causes cancer". This is still a disease we are all in quite a bit of darkness about. Causes float in and around us , more and higher in some places than others. But, what and who are going to be diagnosed.... its very hard to tell and confusing to most of us. I was diagnosed with cancer stage 3 in Jan 2023, yet my family hasn't had any "genetic" predisposition. My oncologist, such a wonderful man, explained this much: most of us carry micro-floating cancers just as we have bad bacteria and foreign matter in our systems : things that we are equipped with white blood cells (your main internal army) seeks out every minute and destroys then to keep you healthy. I didn't know we fight off cancers just as much as other bad things.... this is our immune system working at its best! But sometimes, cancer cells 'land somewhere they like'.... for myself breast cancer HER2 grew.... for some reason.... So, after getting this diagnosis, i am one of those people glad to have even the smallest "warnings" that this 'item' has caused cancer in (at least) some people. And when i say, or they say, "caused cancer", they mean those bad cells that our white blood cells usually attack and win ... didn't win the fight from "this item" (for some people, like those with lower white blood cells than others, or HIV, or a normal person who has no clue why it would grow in them). Yes, today I feel different, I'm glad to know, because today I don't want to own this product. I don't want any extra things in my life that 'might' cause cancer in me or my family. I have so many things to adjust in my life because I've already fought this once, recently. I want to change from ANY plastics to glass and it's harder than i thought. I don't want a much processed food, but I'm exhausted and don't have the money to have fresh cooked meals. And grass fed meat? Like I said, I have little money as I'm disabled. And did i say I'm exhausted from treatment? Even if it's barely helpful, its a start and I'm glad. Warnings on cigarettes packaging was fought, disputed, laughed at, minimized (and finally won) for years! Today, most of us are glad that happened. Even if the younger generation doesn't know, we do, and it made a MAJOR impact in saving suffering, addiction and a lot of times death. Yes, I believe this is a start to something that will be big, in a good way... one day. I still can't find a TV!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Let me start with I am no doctor nor do I have any schooling in any medical field. That being said a few things many items contain bpa most plastic items I see have a warning about being known to cause cancer in California honestly a big percentage plastic and non plastic items alike say this all the time. I’m jot positive but I’m pretty sure they have to put that in order to be sold in California. From what I know about bpa even if you chewed the tv you more than likely wouldn’t suffer from much more than a chipped tooth or sore mouth unless you were actually swallowing parts which in that case I think the bpa is the least of your worries. I’m pretty sure bpa only really poses a threat at least for the most part of the plastic is heated and cooled than ingested. For example you leave a bottle of water that contains bpa in the plastic in your car dash in the sunlight during the summer for a day or two then drink it or if it was burned and the smoke inhaled but even in these instances I’m pretty sure it takes time and much more than the one item to get cancer from bpa. So in short I’m pretty sure you should be fine having this tv in your room especially since you won’t have liquid near your tv at least not if you want it to keep working for a long time. And if your tv is burning I wouldn’t be as worried about breathing bpa fumes as I would be worried about how to not burn alive. Last thing sorry if any of this sounded a little smart Alec if it did that’s not my intent I’m just answering to the best of my understanding of how bpa can cause cancer in an individual and how the methods of absorbing the chemical into your body that I know of existing don’t coincide with the general and standard use of the tv
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi I was looking onto the same things I keep seeing the warning signs as well but I heard Sony brand is a great tv and it doesn't have this California 65 warning. In fact it is a safe rv to watch
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just from personal experience, I don't know why they put Bpa chemicals in TVs, I once had cookware pan ,not knowing it contained Bpa chemicals, everytime I cook ,I got headaches, my skin on my face broke out, and my house smelled of a chemical odor, to the point I had to open the window to breathe, I ended up throwing that pan I the trash, my son had no reaction, but I had an extreme reaction to Bpa...and it seems all these TVs today have this chemicals, and when I first got my TV again my faced burned and broke out....Just like they should take the chemicals out of our food they should ban them from TVs and other appliances, furniture, clothing, makeup, beauty and cleaning supplies ...Why does Europe ban thousands of chemicals but the United States does Not????... Something is Not right ...seems they are purposely making us sick.
