QuestionDoes Dolby vision only work though Netflix and Vudu or can it play Dolby vision through HDMI 1 connected via a proper 4k Blu Ray player

- Answer Dolby vision should work through the HDMI 1 connection, but not the other three HDMI ports.

QuestionVoice control seems to work fine for adjusting volume or what's playing through Google Home. But I cannot get it to turn on or off the TV. I have made sure cec is enabled, is there something else I'm missing. This should be a feature right?

- Answer Tried it myself. Unfortunately, Google Home is not capable of doing the on/off thing, yet. But, it is supposed to being coming.

- Answer I dont believe you can really upscale the HDMI output from the PS3. It is going to put out what it puts out. However, you may notice some more clarity in the picture. I hope this helps.

- Answer It doesn’t have an auxiliary port, NFC sync area, or BlueTooth-only device syncing for audio. I’m not sure what technology you’re trying to leverage, but it sounds like the answer is probably (directly) no. I’m sure you could have an audio device that plugs into the TV that would allow what you’re looking for, if you’re willing to go down that road.

- Answer No. We don't have any small children so we have it on a TV stand. I would have it mounted to the wall if I did have children for safety reasons..

QuestionI have ordered a new vizio model M55-e-1 my direct tv box goes up to 1080p like my 6yr old vizio has. The new one is 2160p will I need a new satellite box from direct tv? Thanks PS the 6yo 50 inch still works fine, I just want the newer apps and sound etc

- Answer It should work fine with the old box. Most of the 4K is all upscaling and not broadcast as of yet. I believe Direct TV may only broadcast like 4 channels in true 4K at this time. Its similar to how HD was limited to 6 channels for a few years now everything is in HD. If you buy 4K movies, have a 4k dvd player, xbox one x or ps4 pro you can take advantage of the 2160p too.

- Answer Our screens are a glossy screen so there can be glare and reflection. Apple and Amazon will show a true 4K, not simulated.

QuestionWhat is the true native refresh rate of this tv? The specs say 120 Hz but http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/vizio/m-series-xled-2017 says 60 Hz.

- Answer The true resolution is 60. Like other brands, Vizio uses software to mimic 120, but its actually 60. I also use rtings.com and I think is an excellent website

Question2 day old set, dissatisfied, there is no clear contrast while watching cable broadcast. , images are fuzzy. my 3 year old samsung blows this away. is the answer don't use this set for less than 1080?

- Answer This TV is intended for HD and UHD content. Why would you blast it for you not using it for its intended use? Sounds a little sketchy to me.

QuestionHas this TV changed branding during it's roll out? I purchased a M55-E0 a couple months ago but noticed at my local store that not only has the box changed to signify XLED but the remote has added quick buttons to several built-in apps.

- Answer The only way this can be answered is if you provide pictures or detailed descriptions of the original packaging. I can confirm that current M55-E0s have XLED on the box and the remote comes with quick buttons, but I have no idea what you have, so I can’t compare.

QuestionI have a Vizio 5.1 sound system I would hook up via ARC but I also have PS4 PRO that I would like to enjoy HDR feature while my sound system is connected. How would I go about this if ARC and HDR are on the same I port?

- Answer You will want to use the optical port with a digital optical cord. The sound quality will be the same with a 5.1 system.

QuestionI’m looking for a relatively cheap 4K gaming tv and this looks like a good deal, but I was wondering if anyone knows about the input lag on it. Chances are it’s going to be around 40 ms with 4K HDR, which I am hoping for, but I just want to make sure.

- Answer Its an excellent TV for the price. Much better that the TCL P55. Check out rtings.com for technical data like lag time
