Yes, you can receive a receipt or an invoice if the TV is purchased in store or online.

Actually you get a Receipt 2 Ways. One is the Receipt you get at time of Purchase at Register. 2nd you can also get a copy emailed to you for Archiving. Which is what I did in case TV goes out and I need Warranty Support. Also If you have Serial # or buy on a Best Buy Credit Card they can track it that way as well. so you are covered. For a TV like this do recommend the Extended Warranty.
